Managing Partner

Mari Sifo serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at SWM International, a global manufacturer of essential performance materials. In this role, she leads a global HR team which is responsible for the development of a world-class, comprehensive talent strategy that enables SWM’s aspiration to double the size of the business. She helps to shape company culture while also developing strong leadership pipelines and providing strategic counsel to the senior leadership team. 
Prior to joining SWM, Mari was the Sr. Director of HR for CP Kelco, a specialty hydrocolloid producer, where she was responsible for leading their Global HR team. Additional leadership experience includes HR leadership roles at Owens Corning Corporation, which included a European-based assignment, Mondelez International, and United Technologies, where she spent six years in positions of increasing responsibility culminating in her appointment as the head of HR and Communications in the divestiture of UTC Power and the subsequent successful acquisition of ClearEdge Power (formerly UTC Power) by a private equity firm. 
She believes her success in HR has come from cross-functional leadership experiences early in her career in both sales and operations. 
Mari enjoys travelling the world. One of her goals in her SBI Nothing book was to travel to a new country every year. Post-graduation, Mari has accomplished this with over 25 stamps from different countries in her passport. 
Mari is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University, where she obtained both her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business Administration. She sits on the Gartner CHRO Governing Board and serves as a Mentor with The Abracadabra Foundation. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated. 
Mari, her husband Ese and two children (Ian (9) and Ethan (6)) reside in Atlanta, Georgia. As a family, they enjoy travelling, watching movies and playing soccer.
